Chris Bail, PhD, is Professor of Sociology, Political Science, and Public Policy at Duke University, where he founded the Polarization Lab. He studies political tribalism, extremism, and social psychology using data from social media and tools from the emerging field of computational social science. His most recent book, “Breaking the social media prism,” serves as the foundation for his next documentary collaboration with Jesters and fools filmmaker, Rob Feld, Us vs. them.
